The Finnish Society on Media Education has produced material to support the debate that would help people to identify fake news and disinformation and to strengthen critical media literacy.
Materials were produced in the STEA-funded Caawinaad project (2020-2021) in which The Finnish Society on Media Education acted as an expert. Project was organised by the Finland-Somalia Association and the Somali Association of Western Finland, which focused on communications and advice related to the Covid crisis and was targeted at Somalis in Finland.
